Description
BNS-Central Heating BOILER NOISE
Vitcas® Central Heating Boiler Noise Silencer is a non-acid boiler descaler which stays in the system for life; no need to flush. Noise Silencer is compatible with plastic tanks, microbore and all metals (including aluminium) used in central heating systems
Vitcas® Central Heating Boiler Noise Silencer is a non-acid boiler descaler which stays in the system for life; no need to flush. Noise Silencer is compatible with plastic tanks, microbore and all metals (including aluminium) used in central heating systems. Vitcas® Boiler Noise Silencer is only suitable for fully indirect systems. Not suitable for use with PRIMATIC single feed cylinders. Knocking and kettling can be especially irritating in the early hours or at night. Noisy boilers are usually attributable to hard water lime scale and sludge deposit formation on the heat exchanger surfaces. These deposits also reduce heat transfer which increases fuel bills and reduces the service life of the boiler. Vitcas® Boiler Noise Silencer will remove scale and baked on sludge deposits and prevent them from reforming, thus restoring heating efficiency while reducing the noise and extending the life of the boiler.
Application for liquid
· For best results, pre-treat with Vitcas® System Cleaner & sludge remover prior to adding Vitcas® Boiler Noise Silencer. Add Vitcas® Central Heating System Inhibitor to protect the metallic components in the system. Locate the central heating feed and expansion tank.
1 litre or 1 tube treats 100 litres. (approx. 10 standard radiators)
Application for liquid.
· Shake bottle and pour entire contents into tank.
· Vitcas® Central Heating Boiler Noise Silencer is gradually drawn into the system and provides full effect within 1-6 weeks. Bleed radiators after 2-3 days and again after 2-3 weeks.
· Alternatively, Vitcas Boiler Noise Silencer can be added via a partially drained radiator.
Application for concentrate
The concentrate is added to a radiator using the supplied adaptor and a cartridge gun. Close both valves on the radiator and remove the bleed screw using a radiator vent key. Push and turn the adaptor clockwise into the opening to make a tight fit. If necessary, trim the end of the plastic adaptor with a craft knife. Open the cartridge by cutting off the domed end and connect the adaptor. Open one valve of the radiator and using a cartridge gun inject the whole contents of the cartridge into the radiator. Then close the valve again to remove the adaptor and replace the bleed screw. Finally open both of the radiator valves. After using this treatment the radiators should be bled to remove trapped air.
Noise Silencer stays in the system and there is no need to flush. To be used in conjunction with Vitcas® System Inhibitor.
