HRF - HEAT RESISTANT FILLER 1000°C -WHITE
Vitcas® Heat Resistant Filler is a ready mixed material for filling in small cracks and joints in high temperature areas. Can be used on the joints of High Temperature Plasterboard. Resistant up to 1000°C / 1830°F.
Vitcas® Heat Resistant Filler is a ready mixed material which can be utilised for filling in small cracks and jointing in high temperature products such as in Vitcas High Temperature Plasterboard. The filler is resistant up to 1000oC / 1830oF.
Uses:
Small cracks on the chimney breast especially around cassette stoves
On the joints of VITCAS® High Temperature Plasterboard
Application:
Make sure the area is clean and that all dirt, dust and grease is removed. Cut off the top of the cartridge, screw on the nozzle and cut the nozzle to the required size. Apply to the area to be filled using a cartridge gun. Smooth the surface with a clean scraper. The material will set faster when warm.
Vitcas® Heat Resistant Filler can be sanded before painting. Certain types of emulsion paint may require the use of a proprietary stabilising primer before application - check with the instructions on the paint.
